Through my music, I try to channel the soul of the Himalayas—whether it’s through heartfelt vocals or atmospheric sound textures that carry the spirit of the mountains.

I’ve been fortunate to explore and play a variety of folk string instruments like the Dotara, Esraj, Guitar, and Machunga. Each one tells its own story, and together, they help me weave the intricate, mesmerizing sounds of Himalayan folk music.
I was born in Darjeeling, a place rich with cultural roots and rhythm. My musical journey took me to Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan, where I trained in the Esraj—a rare and deeply expressive instrument that continues to shape my artistic voice.

I'm also the music director of the band The Trabanacle, leading the group through performances at numerous venues, events, and festivals. One of the proudest moments in my journey was receiving the Achievement Award from the Diocese of Darjeeling, a recognition that means a lot to me.
More than anything, I strive to inspire today's youth through music — not just as a performer, but as someone who believes in the power of creativity, expression, and connection.
