Warnamala Pariwar is a Himalayan cultural, educational and environmental organisation working to preserve languages, celebrate indigenous cultures, promote folk music and make learning more joyful and meaningful for children.
Based in the Himalayan region of West Bengal, Warnamala Pariwar was founded from a simple belief: children learn better when education connects with their own language, music, culture and surroundings.
The organisation was founded by Deoashish Mothey, whose early experiences of teaching children through music shaped the foundation of Warnamala Pariwar.
What began as a small initiative with children in the local community has grown into a wider movement using music, animation, books, games and local cultural references as tools for education and cultural preservation.
At the heart of Warnamala Pariwar is the idea of Musical Learning.
Our educational resources combine alphabets, songs, rhymes, animation and interactive content to help young children learn in a way that is engaging, memorable and connected to their cultural environment.
Our Nepali Warnamala Musical Learning Book introduces children to the Devanagari alphabet through songs and rhymes. QR-enabled content connects the printed book with musical animations, bringing together books, music and technology in one learning experience.
We believe that education should not feel distant from a child's world. When children see their own language, instruments, stories and cultural references in the learning process, education becomes more meaningful.
